About Aviastone

Aviastone LLC is an independent software studio building professional desktop tools for photographers, designers, and creative professionals.

Why we exist

We build software because we kept running into the same problem: the tools we needed either didn't exist, had been swallowed by subscription models that priced out long-term users, or had been bolted onto cloud platforms whose privacy posture didn't fit professional work.

Aviastone exists to ship software the old way — desktop apps you can buy once, run on your own machine, and depend on without asking anyone's permission. Software that respects your files, your time, and your wallet.

What we build

Our first product is Cullstack, a photo and video culling cockpit for photographers who manage their own files across multiple storage backends. It ships with on-device AI helpers — semantic image search, face detection, closed-eye flagging, and smart auto-stacking — that run entirely on your machine. How we work

• Direct distribution. We sell software directly from this website and through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. We are not on the Mac App Store and have no plans to go there — the sandbox restrictions are incompatible with the kind of professional tools we build.
• One-time licenses. Each product is sold with a perpetual license for the major version you bought. Updates within a major version are free. Major upgrades may be paid, but your existing license keeps working forever.
• Local-first architecture. Our products read and write your files on your machine. AI features run on your device — never in a cloud we control. We never train models on your work and we don't collect telemetry. If we ever ship a cloud service, it'll be optional and clearly disclosed.
• Cross-platform. Every product runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux from a shared codebase. One license covers all platforms.

The studio

Aviastone is small. We don't have investors, a roadmap dictated by quarterly targets, or pressure to grow at a pace that compromises the work. We ship when something is ready, charge a fair price, and use the proceeds to keep building.
